On Friday night, March 14 I went into Seattle to talk to restaurant owners at Nirmal’s, Good Bar, and Mamnoon who were all struggling with a huge drop in business as people stayed home to avoid the virus. Two days later, Jay Inslee would order all restaurants to close their dine-in operations.

On March 11 I interviewed recovered COVID patient Elizabeth Schneider at her apartment in Eastlake. On the left is a segment from a Mumbai based new channel that used the footage, the right is the edit AFP released on their youtube. Photos from the shoot were used all over as well; People.com, Yahoo, NY Post, Daily Mail and many others.

The next day, March 6, UW suspended all in-person classes, so I went to campus to get their reactions.
